I've only had a quick flick through the new book on Bart Cummings but found a rather interseting few lines in there about horse owners.
Bart says: Race horse owners ask me how much I charge for training and I tell them it's $50 a day, but if they want to give me a hand, I'll charge $75. A lot of trainers have copied this quote. The best owners are the ones who enjoy the wins and put up with the losses and leave the training to the trainer!
I'm looking forward to reading it. Has anyone read it yet and found other interesting or "typical Bart" quotes in it?
